Ja też byłem niecierpliwy i chciałem szybko zdobywać odznaki, a przy tym mało wydać.
Rano przejeżdżałem do 40 km na rowerze i zaliczałem limit 30 kilometrów do KOT (teraz jest 15 km), a po zakwaterowaniu się zdążyłem do wieczora wychodzić 35-40 pkt do GOT. Sporadycznie podwoziłem się autobusem.
W ten sposób zwiedzałem miejscowości, unikając chodzenia asfaltem, dużych kosztów przejazdów i noszenia plecaka, a potem chodziłem tam, gdzie trudno było dojechać rowerem (teraz to na ogół nie jest przeszkodą).
